The main difference is the liposomal technology and the concentration of active ingredients. Most serums on the market contain colostrum or other ingredients in the form of a water extract that does not penetrate the scalp barrier. Our colostrum is encapsulated in liposomes — microcapsules that mimic cell structure — so the active ingredients (IGF-1, EGF, lactoferrin) reach the hair follicles. Liposomal technology is well known in advanced skincare. We do not claim to be the only solution — but we are the only product in Poland that combines pure bovine colostrum with liposomal technology.

You may notice the first changes after a few weeks, but it is worth being realistic and giving your scalp and hair time. A new hair typically needs about a month to become visible as fine baby hair (especially at the hairline or along the parting).

To achieve the expected result, plan for about 3 months of regular, consistent product use. It is best to compare photos (same area, lighting, and hair positioning) and observe not only the appearance of the hair but also scalp comfort.

Yes, at the beginning of use you may notice slightly more hair falling out during application (massaging). These are usually hairs that were already in the shedding phase and would have fallen out soon anyway — the scalp massage can simply accelerate this process mechanically. This is typically a natural and temporary phenomenon.

Yes — colostrum can cause allergic reactions because it is a dairy-derived ingredient. If you have a confirmed allergy to cow's milk proteins, we do not recommend using these products. It is also important to distinguish between an allergy and an intolerance: an allergy is an immune response, while a food intolerance involves the digestive system. Therefore, a food intolerance to milk protein does not necessarily rule out using a cosmetic product. If you have very sensitive, reactive skin, introduce the product gradually and monitor your skin's response.

Hair-loss medications (e.g. those used to treat androgenetic alopecia) are pharmaceutical products with clinically proven efficacy. Trichovita is a cosmetic, not a medication — we work through a different mechanism. Medications dilate blood vessels or block hormones; we deliver growth factors (IGF-1, EGF) directly to the follicles via liposomes. Many of our customers combine both approaches — liposomal colostrum nourishes and regenerates the scalp, while medications stimulate from a pharmacological standpoint.
